It's been awhile.

Almost a year in fact. But I still love clothes! so that just means lots of new outfits to show.

Say gave me this cute skirt because the elastic had stretched and it doesn't fit her tiny waist anymore. Cheers lovely!

After a week of dedicated addiction to the newly learnt skill of crocheting I have something substantial to show for it.

Lazy Sunday wanderings through the GOMA

Today is a beautiful summer day, the perfect temperature to wander through the markets at the GOMA then cool down inside the beautiful air-conditioned gallery.



Say asked me to come along with her for some Christmas shopping at the markets. There was some beautiful stuff there, including some adorable fabric birds by an artist called Florence who loved birds too and knew immediately my tattoo was a Love bird.

Perfect summer sunday lazy morning.

Fields of Poppies

I found this dress over a year ago in an oppy on the Gold Coast. Every time I wear it, it makes me smile. Even if I do get told by bitchy, old, gay men at work that I look like I'm in my PJ's.

Waistcoasts and satchel bags.

Oh dear, it has been some time since my last post. I shall attempt to be more diligent. My most exciting purchase recently was my delightful waistcoast/vest. I have been wanting one for ages and finally Jane forced me to buy one. She's right, every time we go into a store I do try one on.



Cutest work outfit ever! I went home sick after 2 hours at work the day I wore this . . . I didn't even give it a full showing. Sorry outfit, I promise to wear you again one day.

My other new and exciting purchase is a satchel bag I found at an opshop at the Sunshine Coast. In the same op shop Mum found a chandelier for $5. Oh the joy of second hand goods!



It gets a bit heavy when its full of unnecessary items but still delightful. It has a beautiful caramel velvet lining that I love to rub.

Vintage pinafore and free headscarf

I bought this adorable pinafore from the Valley markets a few weeks ago when I took my mama shopping for her birthday. This was taken a couple of weekends ago when I knew I wanted to start this blog.



The girl I bought it off was very adorable, she gave me a Rose fabric headscarf for free!
